The Mexican love affair began for Mike during a school trip at the age of 14, where he travelled across the country from Mexico city to Cancun. In 2022, we retraced some of those memorable footsteps after completing after 90 day trip across the USA, making sure to include a few extra stops so we could experience things like the colonial charm of Guanajuato and the foodie paradise that is Oaxaca.

We are captivated by everything this beautiful country has to offer, from the electric energy of Mexico City to the laid-back vibe of Tulum. The country’s diverse landscapes, vibrant traditions, and warm hospitality continue to draw us in time and time again.

As food enthusiasts, Mexican cuisine holds a special place in our hearts. We have eagerly sought out the best tacos, indulging in the flavourful combinations of spices, meats, and salsas that make them truly irresistible. Along the way, we’ve also ventured into sampling more niche delicacies like grasshoppers and guacamaya sandwiches, exploring the rich culinary heritage that Mexico boasts.
